More complex systems in Blackjack
We have always tried to make counting systems more efficient and more precise. However, experience shows that the simpler the system, the easier it is to assimilate. Even if you master a more complex and very precise system บาคาร่าสด, it will not allow you to earn more money in the long term.
The problem with these more complex systems like the side-count or the multi-level system is that when you have to focus on more data, you can’t pay as much attention to playing fast and counting correctly. You will gain more by using a simple system by playing quickly than a complex system, which slows down your play. The less the counting will require you of effort, the easier it will be for you to avoid the vigilance of the casino.
“Wonging” (or back counting)One of the best-known counting techniques is “wonging,” after the alias Stanford Wong used by John Ferguson in his blackjack book series. Wonging consists of observing the blackjack table by counting as described above and only joining the table when the count is favorable. Above all, this technique allows you to reduce “fees” since you don’t bet anything until you sit down at the table.
However, this technique is now well known to casino staff and is unfortunately very easily spotted. In addition, many casinos no longer allow players to enter the game at any time. The advantage of this kind of technique is that the player does not have to bet on all the hands he counts. This reduces variations in bankroll and thus further increases the player’s advantage.
Why a simple counting system is more efficient
As we have already explained, the most sophisticated counting systems are much easier to spot in a casino than the more basic systems. A team of counters is easily noticed. The codes and other signals that players think are discreet are very often noticed by surveillance cameras either immediately or after the fact.
Conversely, the cameras will never be able to capture what is going on in a player’s head, and this is probably the reason why even the best-equipped casinos still find it hard to catch the most gifted. The moment your system is not only dependent on your brain and involves an external element, but you are also more likely to have the casino on your trail. Most casinos try to spot the counters by observing irregularities in the bets, both manually and with the help of technology. By using a simple system, you can try to be discreet, for example, by communicating with other players around the table or by adjusting your bets so that you do not arouse suspicion.
